ANARBOR - Drugstore Diet
Well since you asked…
Honestly? Drugstore Diet is actually my favorite song off of The Words You Don’t Swallow. The song has a very upbeat and catchy sound right off the bat which continues through out the whole song. I love the guitar on this track especially. The lyrics are also something that I can relate too, which always gives off a good vibe. They are about things that kids our age are all starting to use. (Drugs, sex, alcohol, and so on). Everyone uses drugs now, for good and bad things. I feel like this song “talks” about how we use them (or anything else) too much to fix problems that can only be covered up. Those problems will just keep coming back. People keep using the drugs, or whatever their “fix” is, to cover them up again. It’s kind of like an endless cycle. So, as a whole song I give Drugstore Diet a 10/10 :).
